Note
An older Lafayette - Head and shoulders, to the right, in uniform with no hat. Clouds and an American flag in the background with subtitle, "The French Hero Washington's Friend America's Freedom & Glory" at the top. The title appears in laural leaves at the bottom of the vignette with the artist appearing just beneath the leaves. The Society of Cincinnati eagle is prominently displayed on the left lapel. Stipple.
In script below the vignette is "Dedicated to the Veterans of 1776."
