Place of publication and printer from verso
On verso: "To counterfeit is death!" [signed] Levi Budd.
Budd, who was a member of the carpenters' Company of Philadelphia, was in the lumbers business. The new currency was signed by prominent citizens of Philadelphia in an attempt to reduce counterfeiting.
