Oval in framelike border 4/16 surrounded by ribbon at the top through ring as for a miniature, with laural branches and below, along with symbols of battle. Title appears in a drawn placard. The entire engraving is rectangular with a heavy double line border, 1/16. Comte de Rochembeau was an original member of the Soceity of the Cincinnati from France.
