[H]is widow does not know the names of his officers he was out the [illegible] in /75 & at Bennington battle & at Groton at the time the enemy destroyed it. If the name of Elias Lothrop should be discovered I wish you to note it. He served part of the time as a teamster & two m[onth?]s as private. He was an enlisted teamster.
