The loss was a major setback to the British in the South and insured that the Floridas were returned to the Spanish in the Peace of 1783.
Differs from Madrid ed. of same year in type face and line settings -- cf. first paragraph at top of p. 3; Havana ed. has 5 lines, but Madrid ed. has 4.
