A photograph of the watercolor rendering of the British ship Sukey, still under the British flag, sailing into Newburyport, with the American flag flying at the port entrance. The small privateer leads the way. The photograph includes most of the title as it appears on the frame of the watercolor. The letter B is cropped off from the beginning of "Brig."
A label on the back of the mat board reads as follows: "NR&L (MOD) 36663-KN. Watercolor (18-1/8" by 28") Artist unknown.
