Note
These six prints, from original watercolors by Henry Gasser, were produced as examples of historic landmarks in New Jersey on the occasion of the state's Tercentenary Celebration in 1964. The contemporary paintings of Washington's Headquarters at Morristown; the von Steuben House, North Hackensack; Nassau Hall, Princeton; and First Presbyterian Church, Springfield, are of most interest to this library because of their connection to events during the American Revolution.
Inside the commerative folders are brief historical sketches concerning the subject of each of the paintings as well as a biographical sketch about the artist.
