In 2009 -- Inventory of Maryland room found that Capt. Rich had originally provided four prints from Baltimore to the Society; two were gifts and two were loans It appears that two of the prints were returned to the owner, except one was originally a load and the other originally a gift. This engraving was originally one of the gifts, but appears to have been returned to the owner, possibly in error. The Society currently possesses two engravings of scenes in Baltimore from Capt. Rich, and one was a a part of the original gift along with this one, but the other print still in the possession of the Society was one of the original loans. Bottom line: IT appears that THIS PRINT IS NO LONGER IN THE POSSESSION OF THE SOCIETY.
