Martin; loosely inserted is a 45 p. typescript of the list described as "Army list compiled by David Crawford, who was commissioned as "Deputy Commissary General of all our standing forces as well officers as soldiers" on the 31st of March 1707, 1714. This army list was copied in 1938 from the original manuscript book in the possession of Mr. A.J. Arnold of ... Surrey."; letter from Lt. Col. G.T.E. Keith to the librarian at RUSI explains how the probable date was arrived at with reference to officers serving with Seymour's Regiment (removed to case file no. L2002F309)
