George III sleeps, while Bute and Mansfield try to decide what to do with his crown. America, dressed as an Indian, looks on from behind the bushes and says, "We in America have no crown to fight for or lose," Around this group a British merchant stands in his rags, an Irishman goes his own way, a Dutchman steals honey from some hives, and Britania weeps while her lion sleeps and maps of Great Britain and America lie at her feet.
