Includes his evaluations of actions by Sir William Howe, Peter Parker, Lord Cornwallis, General Burgoyne, Lord Percy, Generals Leslie, Grant, and Carleton, as well as his own.
Vol. 3 (loose items in box): loose leaves, including Clinton's receipt for the History signed by Stedman; a note regarding the relief of Jamaica; as order to General Leslie to embark 2,000 men; a two-page note on Sullivan's Island; and copies of notes recorded on pp. 197, 205, and 210 respectively; also a printed copy of Observations on Mr. Stedman's History of the American War by Lieutenant-General Sir Henry Clinton, K.B.
