49 men are listed, including Drury and other officers John and Timothy Sharman, Wm. Brigham, John Manard, and Amos Gale
Possibly dated as early as April 1775 when Drury was Capt. in Artemas Ward' s Regiment; that unit was adopted 14 June 1775 into the Continental Army
Possibly related to the period between 18 July and 4 December 1781 when Drury's regiment was detached for 3 months' service at West Point--see Mass. soldiers and sailors of the Revolutionary War, v. 4, p. 987
May also relate to Massachusetts' attempt to reconcile soldiers' accounts in light of currency depreciation during the war--see Worcester Magazine and historical journal, v. 1, nos. 5 & 6, p. 134-136; 165-167
