"For portage of muster rolls from ye West Indies L76.15.6"
Troop locations include Holland, England, Gibraltar, Portugal, the Channel Islands, the West Indies, New York, and New England.
On p. [196] for 2 Dec. 1706: To be pd over to the D. of Marlbro [sic] to defray sundry extry [sic] charges upon the memorable march of Her Matys. forces ... to Schellenburgh & Blenheum in ye year 1704 -- 7000.0.0 [pounds]
Includes mention of monies lent to Charles III, King of Spain as well as funds paid for soldiers from Hesse and Cassel.
Bound in brown leather, decorated in blind; leather title label lettered in gold.
