Treatise on diseases prevalent among soldiers in the field and in garrisons and the medicines recommended for their treatment. Pages 7-13 list common disorders, pharmaceutical preparations, and their costs; pages 15-26 list medicines recommended for battalion use and the diseases for which they were prescribed. The volume concludes with accounts of dysentery in military hospitals during 1734 and epidemic diseases in military encampments during 1734-1735.
