"Should a different mode be preferred they will of course become useless."|This trial took place 4 years after this more famous court martial relating to the Burr conspiracy. Wilkinson at this point had been assigned to the St. Lawrence River theater of war, ironically, the area previously under the command of Henry Dearborn. This court martial related to his two failed campaigns (the Battle of Crysler's Farm and the Battle of Lacolle Mills.) After being relieved from active duty, he was again court-martialed but was ultimately cleared. He was then discharged from the Army on June 15, 1815.|Pages [2] and [3] are blank.|Morgan Lewis was an original member of the New York Society of the Cincinnati; Dearborn, of the New Hampshire, later Massachusetts Society.
