Docketed on verso: Norwalk / Acc.t of Family Supplies / 1780`|On verso: Certification of the accounts signed by Hooker St. John, John Lockwood, Jr., John Stanford, and Eliphalet Lockwood, Selectmen with a request to advise whether "the soldier lodged any mmoney, if any, when & how much."|Another certificate, signed by Stephen St. John 2d, affirms "that the within named officers and soldiers did not lodge any money withe ye Com.tee of supplies ..."|The officers apparently served variously in the State militia and in the Continental Army.|Watermark: Initial T T, flanking a bell.
