Samuel B. Webb was an original member of the Connecticut Society of the Cincinnati, and later of the N.Y. Society.

[1]. Partially printed receipt signed by Daniel Evet: " Hartford, October 23d. 1783. Received of Pay-Table Committee, their order on the Treasurer of this State, to secure the payment of Forty six pounds thirteen shillings & 9 being the balance due to me on the first day of January 1780, as stated by the Committees of the State and the Army ..."
[2]. Certificate of service of Daniel Evet [Evett?]: "as a soldier the year 1777 1778, 1779 and untill [sic] the 1st of June 1780; from that period untill the 12th of April 1782 he absented himself from his duty in the Regt. when he again returned and continued to the end of the war. Sam. B. Webb, late 3d Connect. Regt. Wethersfield October 25 1783. To the Committee of Pay Table Hartford."
