Summary
Ralph Pomeroy served as a Military Paymaster for wages, reimbursement for expenses or loss due to damages during the Revolutionary War. The military finances for the colony of Connecticut were handled by the Pay-Table; thus the assumption of the Committe as the recipient of this documet.|Items mentioned include forage, viz. hay and grain to be deposited at the posts of Hartford Waterbury Danbury Kent & Litchfield, 3,000 pounds; cash advanced for wages of persons employ'd "necessary articles for use at the several posts in this state, 900 punds; immediate expenditures in making the post at Bulls Falls proper for the reception of stores, for repairing boats at Middletown, for Ferriage of the army of France, 900 pounds; for accountring the cavalry of Col.
