Though "I am not immediately on the scene of action in America where we are carrying all befor[e] us, I will leave you to the publick paper and inform you of the things the paper cannot tell and will att the same time give you great pleasure." He lists the ships, gunships, sloops, and yachts of the British Navy and compares them to those of France and Spain. The lists include locations of some British ships and some numbers of men and guns for the ships.
"[T]he fleet of Spain is rather more than that of France so I hope it will be no hardship to fight them both."
