At bottom: a note mentions duplicate receipts sent by Mr. Wells "to give the teamsters, but he is not got here yet - The teamsters carried their loads within four miles at Peekshills and then ... brought them here which is sixteen miles from where they first carried them / [signed] R Flint

Governor Trumbull was an honorary member of the Connecticut Society of the Cincinnati.
