"I Levi Everet [sic] of New London ... in the state of New Hampshire of lawfull age to testify ... that I was a soldier with George Stone of Boscawen ... in the regular service of the United States & at the time of Revolutionary War ... in the fifth Massachusetts Regiment under the command of Col Rufus Putman [sic]"|Also affirms that George Stone was wounded in the right shoulder on the retreat from Ticonderoga.|Probably obtained in order to obtain a pension.|See another affadavit regarding Stone's service: MSS L1992.1.4.1 M
