"Shipped in good order and well conditioned by George Morgan on board the good batteau called the Sluggard whereof John Finney is Commander, now ... morred in the River Monongahela and bound for Fort Chartres in the Illinois Country ... Ninty [sic] four caggs [i.e. kegs] of rum, seven boxes of merchandize two barrels of ditto, one bag of grass seed, one iron stove & pipes, two boxes of measures & buckets two bundles of scythes, three pair of andirons, one spit, one cott[on] hammock and frame, one tent."|"On account & risque of the shipper to whom the same goes consigned all of which I do promise to deliver to him or [on?] his order at Fort Chartres aforesaid the dangers of the voyage excepted.|Horizontal chain lines
