Print shows the Battle of Beauport, near Quebec, where French forces repelled an attack led by British General James Wolfe, resulting the 443 British casualties; British warships on the Saint Lawrence River disembark troops below cliffs at the Plains of Abraham, waterfall in the foreground.
Apparently first issue; later reprinted as part of the Scenographia Americana, published in London, 1768.
