This scrapbook:contains newspaper clippings, pamphlets and other printed items, post cards, and correspondence, relating to Isabel Anderson’s gift of Anderson House to the Society of the Cincinnati in 1939, her honorary membership in the Society, and use of the house for social, philanthropic and diplomatic events.
With: two loose original watercolor sketches by John R. M. Taylor: apparently place cards (6 x 11 cm.) from some Society event, one is for Mr. Willing Spencer (M.2020.004.1) and one for Mr. Blair (M.2020.004.2); these two drawings are transferred & stored in the Museum collection.
