Abijah Rowlees Company the last campain one gun, no. 22 and bayonet and cartouche box being part contained in Lieu.t [H?]azzards recpt pr Jo Isham ...."|At bottom: No. 22. L3.8.0|Rolls and lists of Connecticut men in the Revolution lists Capt. Rowley's name as Rowlee in the index, but Rowley on p. 23. One Capt. Abijah Rowley moved to Georgia after the war; his son, born in Georgia, spells his own name Rowlee. Heitman lists another as Abijah Rowley of the 8th Connecticut in 1775; Capt. of Swift's Connecticut State Regiment in 1776; and died September 1776.
