The Index of Revolutionary War pension applications in the National Archives, Bicentetnnial ed. lists one Francis Haney of Virginia. Records existing in Morgan, Co., Illinois show a Francis Haney of Virginia,aged 78 in 1832, who fought as a private in the Revolutionary War.
