Invoices, photos, and correspondences regarding objects purchased by the Andersons in 1898-1911 & found in the Anderson House when the estate was presentated to the Society of the Cincinnati by Mrs. Anderson.|Consists of documents that correlate to objects found in the Andersons’ 1911 and 1937 inventories (MSS L1938D1 M [Bound]; MSS L1938D3.1-2 [Bound]). Photos of many of these objects can also be found in the accompanying photograph book (MSS L1938D2 M [Bound]) for the 1911 inventory.|Box 1 is arranged according to a system created by Larz Anderson; portfolio items are labelled with blue numbers & letters that correlate with item entries in the 1911 inventory; these inventory entries are also labelled in red Roman numerals to correspond to photographs in the inventory’s accompanying photograph book.|Box 2 contains the balance of papers related to the Andersons' acquisitions and possessions contained within this record group which do not bear numbers relating to the Anderson portfolio.|For a comprehensive finding aid, see URL
