Inside back cover: Joseph Trow|Accounts relating primarily to his shoemaking and farming skills.|Page [1] contains a record of the marriage of Joseph Trow and Martha Dodge on May 21, 1767 and of the birth names and dates of their 13 children: Joseph, George, Martha, Mol[l]y, John, Josiah, Joanna, John, Alen, Hannah, Jesse, Levi, and Anstis.|Among the citizens names in the accountare Charles Cambridge, D. Carlton, Thomas Carleton, Daniel Dodge, John Farrington, James Hopkins, J. Hutchinson, Roland Parker, Mrs. Betsey Stearns, and Joseph Woodbury. Some of these accounts are signed at settlement.|Also included is a single sheet, possibly by Joseph Trow Sr., listing prices primarily for mending or making shoes for various people between Feb. of 1769 and Jan. 1772. One entry is for hauling a load of hay from Ipswich; another for one day's work of plowing, On its verso in ink: Joseph Wood legery [ledger?]; in pencil Joseph Trow / Mt Vernon N.H. Part of Amherst, N.H. was incorporated as the Town of Mont Vernon on Jan. 11, 1795|At bottom of p.
