Ackley of Hebron for ten pounds seventeen shillings & five pence agreeable to the within order of assembly [signed] Sol.n Phelps Jr.|Ackley's memorial concers a lost note "payable after the war" for the 10 pounds, 17 shillings & 5 pence and his request for a second note.|One John Ackley, possibly this one, served in the first company, 2nd Continental regiment -- Record of Connecticut men ... during the War of the Revolution, p. 45. The note may relate to his service.
