Olney transmits to Greene a copy of Benjamin Walker's letter of 30 March to Olney announcing the 1784 meeting of the Cincinnati to be held in Philadelphia. In the forwarded letter,, George Washington had requested confirmation that the Rhode Island delegates will attend. Greene, as president of that state society would have been a delegate.
