Docketed on verso: Resolve suspending purchase of State paper May 1792|"Whereas the General Assembly of this State at their session in May 1791, appropriated the sum of twelve thousand pounds L money then in the Treasury and in collection to the purchasing up of any of the liquidated securities of the State excepting such bills of credit as were entitled antecendet to the year 1780 ... Resolved .... that the Treasurer ... is directed to make no further purchases of said securities ...."
