Mrs. Barrett [Elizabeth Salisbury Barrett] is well abed with a fine girl & in a fair way of recovery."|"In addition, Mr. Waldo has inclosed sundry letters [not included] on the same subjects to his friends in various places ... which he requests you forward."|"Mr. Waldo" is probably Daniel Waldo, a kinsman by marriage of Elizabeth Salisbury Barrett.
