Itemizes expenses for "victuals & drink for 34 men including the artillery" for Jan. 8 and 13, as well as for transporting the cannon, for the "carman", and for cannon cartridges|Sir - Please to pay unto Capt. Daniel Bishop the above account of eleven pounds nine shillings & eleven pence ... out of the tax or taxes laid for the support of civil government or any monies appropriated for civil government and charge the state." [signed but crossed out and "assistants" added] Rich.d Law ; to John Lawrence Esqr Treasurer|One Richard Law (1733-1806) possibly this one, was a delegate to the Continental Congress at this time.|"Certified pr Jacob Daggett Clark|At bottom in a different hand: NB.
