Summary
In an unidentified hand; number 91|Lists treatments, expenses, and payments relating to two patients: Matthias Puffer of Walpole, and Capt. Samuel Cowell of Wrentham.|Entries for Puffer cover from June 3, 1770 to April 1771. Charges are for medicines, some of which are for his wife, and two phlebotomies, one in June, 1770 and the other in October. Cowell's payments were mainly in "sundryes", turnips or white beans; one entry is for cash payment.|Entries for Capt. Cowell are also for medicines, including for his wife and child; visits; and 2 phlebotomies.|A similar item appeared at auction in 2014; it also named 2 patients and is apparently in the same hand.
