"The state of Connecticut doth owe unto, and hereby acknowledge the receipt of sixty seven pounds five shillings & eleven pence from Mr. Joshua Ambler ... which they promise to pay ... before the fourth day of March one thousand seven hu[ndred] eighty eight ... six per cent per annum ...."|At head of title: Numb. 661|On verso, endorsed showing payments of interest from 1786 through 1789, each entry signed by Wm. Lawr[ence], J. Lawrence, and R.
