This is the first British edition, including a publisher's advertisement condemning the general officers of the American army "with the inhuman Washington at their head" for the execution of Major André; first published in New York, 1780; numerous separate editions followed.
Posthumously published satirical poem by the British officer who was captured and hung a spy. He takes aim at the American military command, particularly General Anthony Wayne.
