Narrative set in the 1770s & 1780s in London & America, Cinthelia follows her worthless handband who, ruined by gambling, enlists in the British army and is sent to America & then she experiences shipwreck and enemy attack on her voyage during the American Revolution.
Bound in leather backed marbled boards; gilt spine with orange labels.
