On p. 1: Our will and pleasure is that this establishment of the regiments and augmentations to our forces hereafter mentioned do commence and take place from the respective periods herein set down and continue in force until the 24th day of December 1779 inclusive ....
In margin of p. 2: A regiment of light dragoons / commanded by Lieut. General George Preston / consisting of six troops of 37 private men mounted and 30 private men dismounted in each / in all 494 men officers included
In margin of p. 3: 9th: A regiment of foot / commanded by Earl Ligonier consisting of 12 companies of 56 private men in each / in all 811 men officers included
At foot of p. 3: Three regiments of foot more commanded by 20th Lieut Gen.l [George Lane] Parker; 24th, Lieut Gen.l [William] Tayler; 62nd. Maj. Gen.l Val[entine] Jones

Includes per diem and annual pay for both officers and men.
With the exception of the 69th Regiment of Foot, all the named regiments were serving in America at the time of this decree. The 69th arrived in 1781 and saw action in Dominica and the Battle of the Saintes. The 9th, 24th, 34th, part of the 53rd, and the 62nd surrendered at Saratoga; the 17th Light Dragoons, at Yorktown --see Carl Franklin's British Army Uniforms from 1751 to 1783 (2012)
