Proposal for refinements to the June 1, 1776 official regulations for the infantry is signed by the son of General Rochambeau, who accompanied his father to America during the revolutionary war.
Ms. annotations probably in the hand of his father, comte de Rochambeau.
Rochambeaur became a member of the French Society.
Blind ownership stamp at top right on p. [1]: Archives de Chastellux.
