Map depicts the full North American continent, including Canada, Mexico and the West Indies (with a vast blank space in the northwest labeled "pays inconnus") & delineates United States in the mist of the American Revolution, showing north to the mountains of North Carolina, Mississippi & Alabama as part of West Florida.
Note along the Mississippi River reads: "Missi-sipi F qui sert de bornes aux dominations Espagnoles et Anglo-Américaine" (Mississippi River which serves as the limits to the Spanish and Anglo-American dominations)
Scale ca. 1:11,000,000.
