Satire critical of Lord Bute's influence in the peace negotiations with France to end the Seven Years' War; George III, and Queen Charlotte, as the British Lion and Lioness, riding in a state coach, which is driven by the king's mother, the Princess of Wales, seated on the box; among her petticoats, Lord Bute is half-concealed & Bute's opponent Pitt is thrown from his horse.
