Mostly recipes for desserts: rice, plumb, orange, or lemon puddings; custards; seed cake, honey cake, or cheese cake; minced pie. Also recipes for jellies.
On pp. [12]-[13]: Receipt for the plague [attributed to] Hippocrates
On p. [16 ]: To hash a calf's head; p. [17], for marinating fish; p. [18] is blank
On p. [19]: To make Saragosa wine or English sack;
Pages [21-22] mostly torn away; p. [23-24] stub only
Page [25]: Certain cure for the cholic, flux, or gripes ....
Page [27] is blank.
Attached to p. [28]: Recepte [sic] for the dropsey
Also a loose leaf, apparently mailed to Mr. John Tresidder at Mr. Norman Tolmis's [i.e., Tolmie's?] at New York, containing another recipe for marinating fish.
