Witnessed at foot of p. [1]: John Owen [and] Mary Ashley, her mark. One John Owen, probably this one, was a Judge in Simsbury at the time.

Also on verso: Simsbury Sept. 22nd 1794 / Rec'd of Jona. Humphrey son to the within / Jona. Humphrey signer of the within/ instrument he being dec'd & the above / Jona. being an ex.tr on sd dec.d estate / all the goods and household furniture / &c that might or had been / mention'd agreable to the within writing/ to my full satisfaction & I do acquit sd / dec.d estate for all [demands?] I have on the / same as witness my hand [signed] Lois Humphrey/ alias Lois Viets the within signer & sealer written/ and signed by her order per / Abner Aiets.
