This photo album was created by Henry F. Withey who was a draftsman with the architectural firm Little & Browne who helped oversee the construction of Anderson House, sent photographic progress reports from April 20, 1903 to October 13, 1904.
Contents: Photos taken by Henry F. Withey to show the progress of the construction of the Anderson House from April 20, 1903 to October 13, 1904 -- Notes about the house and the Andersons written on notebook paper by Henry F. Withey from October 1949 -- Newspaper clippings about the state of the house and the life of Mrs. Anderson, from 1949 and the 1950s.
Most of the newspaper articles reported the dispute between Massachussetts and New Hampshire over which state would receive Isabel Anderson’s inheritance taxes.
The last article: "A woman of the world, a woman of simplicity - her distinction in many fields - her writings and the new book soon to be published " by Katharine Crosby.
