"If the Honb. Court of Sessions should give liberty to have a hospital for inoculation for the small pox at Fresh Pond and the court appoint a physician ... I have been imployd so much in said distemper and think I may say have seen more of it, both by inoculation & the natural way than any physician in this state and have practiced with as great success."
