"Please to pay Col. Heman Swift fifteen houndred pounds for Captains Albert Chapman Robert Walker & Theodore Woodbridge to pay towards raising their respective companies in Col. Swift's Continental Battalion in part of the ten pounds enlisting bounty granted by the Assembly of this state."
On verso: Rec'd Feb. 7 1777 -- Josiah Starr; also order no. 6173, audited 1 Sept. 1777
