"The above mentioned sums amounting in the whole to three hundred forty six pounds twelve shillings and eleven pence being the several balances found due to the above named persons for their service in [1st and?] 8th Reg.t in the Connecticut Line ... in the year 1780 ...."
Names listed: Albert Bowman, Moses Gilbert, William Brown, David Parson [i.e., Parsons?, Samuel Fairweather, Uriah Mead, Aaron [Thuler?], William Waterbury, Stephen Hait, Zalmon Prindle, Seth Hubbel, Samuel Green, Castor Freeman, and Samuel Nichols. Eleven of the fourteen had served together with Lt. Salmon Hubbell in Capt. Comstock's company of the 5th regiment in 1781 -- see Record of Connecticut Men ... during the ... Revolution, p. 344-345.
