"Be so kind as to send by the bearer Mr. Comstock the money you recd of Jno Saxe .... [signed] I. Senter
"N.B. I saw Saxe & he told me he had paid one half the acct. & requested a receipt - I could not give by reason of not hearing from you."
On verso: Providence, April 8th 1785. / I hereby acknowledge to have this day rec.d of Theodore Foster one pound and ten shillings ... for acct. Isaac Senter on the within order on account of the mony [sic] due him from ... John Saxe / [signed] Ezekiel Comstock
Senter was an original member of the Rhode Island Society of the Cincinnati
