Technical treatise, including sketches & tables recording the results of Cram's experiments with gunpowder. He notes contradictions to the assertions in Benjamin Robins' work "New Principles of Gunnery," 1742. Also details the the proper loading of artillery & the construction of caissons.
John Cram is known as the designer of the "fan chair" (a Windsor chair fitted with a fan mechanism overhead that was operated by foot pedals).
