Tarleton holds both ends of his gun in his hands while Francisco grabs the barrel of the gun with his proper left hand, and raises his sword with his right. One British soldier is seen wounded on the ground, while seven other British soldiers retreat. Behind Francisco, three men, two of them African American, are walking towards a wooden house at left.
Includes a remarque of George Washington at bottom center.
